The Diamond Belt Champion project is presented by the International Kickboxing Association and the Production Center IVAN.

The Diamond Belt Champion invites 16 active world professional kickboxing and muay - thai champions from any world federations. These 16 fighters will struggle for the most prestigious trophy in the history of kickboxing -golden belt covered with diamonds valued at $150,000 and a prize reward of $300,000.

There are many world martial arts federations with the active champion that holds a world champion belt. Each praises its own champion! Besides, there are many tournaments such as ‘Best of the Best', ‘The Golden Ring', etc. They invite fighters even without world champions titles, and still the organizers claim their sportsmen best on the planet.

Hence, we propose to all active champions of the world to demonstrate their strength and win the most precious and honored belt in the history of the world kickboxing. The one to hold this belt will no doubt be the strongest champion on the planet in a given weight class. The fighter will have to pass various tests that are only under capacity of the real champion.

This project will vary greatly from similar events. The show organizers chose to combine this prestigious sport contest with the most popular television format of ‘reality show'. In the course of 6 week television show we are eager to show a tough way any real sportsman has to go to take victory.

Terms and conditions:
1. On the first seeding stage, every potential participant will get an official proposal to take part in the project with 10 questions in it. The contender should provide answers in video format (VHS (PAL)) and post the tape at the address indicated by the organizers. Participants may enclose any promo-materials about them and their sport accomplishments. On the basis of these materials, producers will choose 16 contenders for this project.
2. The champion selected for the project should come and show up with his world champion belt and a certificate to confirm his world title as well as the possession rights, name of the federation that issued this belt and the date the belt was presented.
3. Participant that chose to take part in the project should be aware of the terms of the project according to which he would reside in a specially equipped House unless he drops out in the course of elimination fights. This comfortable House will have all necessary training and living facilities needed for successful work-outs. The House will be equipped with more than 40 cameras for 24 hour observation every day. The participant should be well aware that in the course of the show he becomes one of the Main Characters in a global television project. In case of an unauthorized quit, he deprives himself of all financial awards and will have to cover all losses producers may have in regard to his leaving the project.
4. All of the 16 fighters will be isolated from the world during 5 weeks. The training base will have certain locations to which the access is strictly denied to the participants of the show. These locations will be indicated crystal-clear, and as long as the restriction is in force, none of the participants can enter the specified sector, open the door, or cross the line, etc. The organizers and the producers will make efforts so the participants meet all reasonable and individual requirements.
5. All of the 16 fighters will arrive at the show venue each with their own trainer and corner man. The access of the coach and the corner man will be confined to visiting fighters on training time as agreed by the organizers and the fighters. At the end of each training session, the coach and the corner man must immediately leave the training base and return to hotel. The coach and the corner man will also attend elimination fights on the weekly basis. These fights will be put up every Friday in a big sport hall with 15,000 seats. Every Friday a special bus will take the champions to the sport hall for contests. In the upshot of the seeding fights every week one participant will quit the tournament.
6. In the end, of 16 fighters there will be only 8 sportsmen that would fight for the main award – the Diamond Belt and the purse of 300,000 USD on Friday of the final 5th week.

Financial terms:
1. The organizers cover the costs of visas, return flight tickets, accommodation and meals to fighters and their coaches and corner men as long as in the project.
2. Every fighter competing at elimination fights will receive 5,000 USD irrespective of the outcome of the bout (fighting formula: 5 rounds – 3 minutes each under muay - thai fighting rules without elbows. Strikes are allowed to body, head, legs as well as knee strikes to body and head). Loser drops out of the tournament, and winner continues competing and steps to the next contest round.
3. Eight finalists fight for the title of the undisputed champion of the world and the Diamond Belt holder. Loser gets a reward of 5,000 USD and quits the tournament, and winner also gets 5,000 USD and proceeds to the next stage.
4. Four finalists fight in the quarterfinal to define only two finalists. Losers receive a reward of 10,000 USD each. Winners proceed to the final stage.
5. Finalists (1st and 2nd numbers) are awarded consequently: the winner of the tournament gets the golden belt covered with diamonds at a price of 150,000 USD and the purse of 250,000 USD. The second number gets a purse of 50,000 USD.
6. The above financial and organizational terms and conditions as well as rules of staying in the House will be strictly stipulated in individual contracts provided to sportsmen by the organizers. Fighter can only enter the House once he puts his signature in the contract.
7. All participants in the House will be provided with medical insurance by the organizers as long as in the House.
