THE ©DIAMOND BELT is a contest of the best fighters in the world. 8 or 16 fighters who are among the top three in their federations will take part in the tournament. The host country will issue individual invitations for those fighters who meet all the requirements of The ©Diamond Belt tournament, i.e. weight class and fighting style, etc. The ©Diamond Belt tournament will be for all major weight classes. The winner of each ©Diamond Belt tournament will be awarded with the ©Diamond Belt – the belt made of a solid piece of gold and decorated with diamonds. Additionally, the winner does receive the prize money that will be set by the host country.

FIGHTING SYSTEM

8 fighters competing in the ©Diamond Belt tournament with all fights to be divided in:
- 4 quarter-final fights
- 2 semi-final fights
- 1 final fight
Each fight consists of 5 rounds 2 minutes each. The fighter who loses his fight is knocked out of the tournament and the one who wins – goes further.
The ©Diamond Belt is the unofficial overall championship of the world as almost all world champions from 8 or 16 international federations will take part. Depending on the fighting style the host country has chosen for its ©Diamond Belt full contact, international (low kick) or muay thai rules will be applied.

SELECTION OF HOST COUNTRY

At the start of each calendar year countries willing to host the ©Diamond Belt tournament should send their applications which will be considered shortly by the federation.

VENUE FOR THE ©DIAMOND BELT

This should be a stadium or a hall capable of accommodating not less than 5,000 visitors. The indispensable condition for the host country is a huge and wide-spread advertising campaign of the ©Diamond Belt.

The ©Diamond Belt will belong to the winner for one year only. The ©Diamond Belt champion has the right to take part in advertising campaigns and actions during one year which do not bring the federation into disrepute. He will be invited automatically for next year ©Diamond Belt tournament where he will try to defend his ©Diamond Belt. When the holder of the ©Diamond Belt loses on any stage of the ©Diamond Belt tournament he must hand over his ©Diamond Belt to a new champion. When a fighter wins the ©Diamond Belt three times in a row the federation will present him with the ©Diamond Belt forever. When an invited fighter is not able to come to the ©Diamond Belt tournament the fighter who is following him in the rankings will be invited.

©DIAMOND BELT REPRESENTATIVES

To become the ©Diamond Belt representative in your country you should send your application to the federation. In your application please state which tournaments you had arranged, with which federations you had worked or are working, your brief biography and your contact information (postal address, phones). After your application is approved you must sign official agreement. Each ©Diamond Belt representative must carry out national selection for the ©Diamond Belt finals among the best fighters of his country in weight categories of scheduled ©Diamond Belt finals. The list of countries approved of hosting the ©Diamond Belt tournament in the current year in this or that weight category will be published on both IKAS and IKO websites. Each ©Diamond Belt representative must publish a ©Diamond Belt website of his country. The links to all representatives' websites will be added to both IKAS and IKO main websites. Each representative must advertise both national and international ©Diamond Belt tournaments on his website and provide profiles on all ©Diamond Belt participants.
